| Description |
Our client is seeking a Solution Architect with experience in digital transformation environments. The role will contribute to solution and application architectures and oversee the architectural implementation to ensure the alignment and iterative delivery of services. The architect will support and guide a team in the delivery of user-centric services and solution designs that emphasize reuse and sharing during large-scale digital transformation projects.
Remote work during covid-19 work restriction. Successful candidate is responsible for providing a computer and software capable of accessing client computer systems for both remote and onsite work. Some travel within Alberta MAY be required to conduct field research and user interviews.

| Experience Required/Mandatory Skills |
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with agile software development either as a software architect and/or software developer.
- Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and guiding teams on the development of one or more custom-built solutions.

- Experience working as a senior technical resource with particular focus on digital transformation.
- Experience creating and implementing an architectural vision for a platform of digital services, with a focus on service delivery.
- Experience using modern web application frameworks (Laravel, Django, Spring, ASP.NET Core, etc.) and/or modern frontend JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React) in the development of a solution that has been launched or released.
- Experience designing and implementing application programing interfaces (APIs) and system integrations.
- Experience uncovering context from systems during technical discovery and navigating projects in environments with substantial dependency on legacy systems.
