Job Opportunity

Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst (Non IT work) to assisted with the development of a project plan, document business functions and flowsin relation to quality assurance touch points. Work on change management and communication plans, focus groups, analysis data, and gap analysis is also required.

  • Experience using analytical and problem solving skills to plan and design creative solutions. (3+ years)
  • Experience with business writing, communication and documentation. (3+ years)
  • Experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios. (3+ years)
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis of costs and benefits. (3+ years)
  • Experience in a leadership and/or facilitation role. (3+ years)
  • Experience in managing projects in a large and complex organization. (3+ years)
  • Experience with information management concepts, privacy, and security issues relating to FOIP. (3+ years)
  • Experience with the development of business cases for a wide variety of initiatives and projects (strategic, business improvement, information technology, etc.). (3+ years)
  • Experience with the development of change management plans. (3+ years)
  • Experience with the development of communications plans. (3+ years)
  • Experience with the development of information management or related types of policies, standards and practices. (3+ years)
Nice To Have Skills
  • Experience developing Business Cases or Business Case Summaries
  • Operate more independently. Make decisions ranging from those governed by general policy, to those on technical or complex issues, within authorized limits.
  • Attend and participate in requirement gathering sessions to understand business and technology changes, to support change management and business readiness activities, to plan and execute change management activities
  • Plan and create high quality documentation to support business change project and maintenance related to user guides operations website, and other help and support tools
  • Provide support to Business by maintaining and providing enhancements to support tools, SharePoint site, and processes
  • Participate in establishing methods and tools to support current and future business requirements
  • Develop and document requirements for design system users, and training documentation
  • Develop and document business cases, requests for information, and requests for qualifications
  • Provide analysis on usability of existing and resulting websites applications
  • Execute changes based on approved work requests, within a release framework, with approval from appropriate program project sponsors
Location Edmonton
Work Environment 3.5 months with 1 possible 3-month extension
Hourly Rate Negotiable
