Description

Our client requires 24 Service Designers to work on service innovation, program review, and digital transformation projects across the GoA. The Service Designer(s) will work as part of cross-functional program review or product delivery teams. These teams, led by GoA product owners and DDI, work collaboratively and collectively participate in a full range of activities including field research, backlog definition and refinement, and sprint planning and execution.  Digital transformation projects review the current state of services, identify future opportunities, and then deliver new services that are efficient, effective and affordable.   The Service Designer(s) will be responsible for activities such as review, discovery, prioritization, prototyping, evaluation, and change management for program review and digital transformation projects.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills

  • Experience developing UX artifacts, including streamlined scenarios, storyboards, wireframes, flows and interactive prototypes. 
Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience working collaboratively as a Front End Designer in a cross-functional team to deliver product/assignment deliverables.  

  • Experience working as a Front End Designer on a project comparable in size and complexity to the service innovation, program review, and/or digital transformation projects contemplated by this SOW.  

  • Experience with Agile methodology.   

  • Experience building and maintaining component libraries/design systems.  

  • Experience working in a dedicated public sector central digital office (e.g. UK Government Digital Service; Ontario Digital Service; British Columbia Government Digital Experience, GoA Digital Innovation Office).

Work Environment 1 Year plus option years
Hourly Rate Negotiable
