Our Client requires Digital Architects to work on service innovation, program review, and digital transformation projects across the GoA. The Digital Architect(s) will work as part of cross-functional program review or product delivery teams. These teams, led by GoA product owners and DDI, work collaboratively and collectively participate in a full range of activities including field research, backlog definition and refinement, and sprint planning and execution.  Digital transformation projects review the current state of services, identify future opportunities, and then deliver new services that are efficient, effective and affordable. 

A Digital Architect is responsible for overseeing the software architecture of digital services, the alignment of services to a common architecture vision, and the iterative delivery of solutions to create a complete digital service.  As the senior technical resource on the team, the Digital Architect(s) will guide the team in delivering user-centric services with solution designs that leverage and provide opportunities for reuse and sharing of capabilities.  The Digital Architect(s) will guide the product owner and team in balancing the allocation of team capacity between user stories and technical tasks.

• Experience as a software architect or senior software developer working collaboratively in a cross-functional environment on the development of one or more custom-built solutions.  

• Experience using modern web application frameworks (Laravel, Django, Spring, ASP.NET Core, etc.) and/or modern frontend JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React) in the development of a solution that has been launched or released. 

• Experience designing and implementing application programing interfaces (APIs) and system integrations.   

• Experience uncovering context from systems in technical discovery and navigating projects through environments with substantial dependency on legacy systems.
