Our client requires an experienced and versatile Senior ETL Analyst / Developer to support a strategic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program to replace its legacy Records Management System (RMS). Responsibilities will focus on development of a data pipeline to extract, load, and transform (ELT) legacy data from NicheRMS version 5 to NicheRMS UA. Additional responsibilities include cleansing of the legacy data and transformation of structured and unstructured data which has been customized in the legacy RMS.

The successful candidate must have prior experience developing a data pipeline to migrate data, including implementation planning and post-implementation support, with a strong track record of successful delivery working with minimal direction in an ambiguous environment.

Location is HYBRID. 1 day per week on site in Edmonton, Alberta.

• Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or similar post-secondary education

• 10+ Years of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, and/or Database Administrator (DBA)

• Expert knowledge of data types, data objects, and Entity Relationship Diagrams

• Expert knowledge of SQL

• Experience developing data pipelines

• Experience with data migration, data transformation, and data cleansing of structured and unstructured data

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Expert knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, R, Ruby, and Scala

• Knowledge of data security is an asset

• Experience in large ERP implementations with a focus on records management and/or financial software

• Experience with NicheRMS is an asset
