Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to assist with planning and implementation of new digital transformation initiatives and support existing projects in progress. Client location is in Edmonton, Alberta. Work can be remote.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills |
All Mandatories MUST be met to qualify. Project Management (Project management training and/or Project Management Institute PMP). Change Management (Prosci Change Management certification or Association of Change Management Professionals CCMP). Business Analysis (IIBA CBAP certification or PMI-PBA certification) Demonstrated experience in project management and change management in supporting large transformational changes in a public sector environment -10 years Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project or implementation plans - 8 years Demonstrated experience performing stakeholder engagement, analysis and development of business architecture based on business, people, systems and processes - 8 years Demonstrated experience performing business analysis to assess the impact of change on an organization - 5 years Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supply chain and grants management to support or lead specific working groups in supply chain and grants management and analyse Ministries business scenarios to support technology design - 5 years Demonstrated experience in organizational design, policy and procedure development to support delivery model changes - 5 years Demonstrated experience in supporting technology adoption for large number of staff (2,000+) including describing and gathering information and technology requirements where necessary to support the implementation of changes within the organization. - 5 years Demonstrated experience designing and implementing stakeholder readiness plans - 5 years Assist in the development of organization-level change management plans (including communications, engagement, coaching, training and advocate/sponsor plans) - 3 years

Demonstrated experience creating training courses and assessing training effectiveness - 8 years Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholder groups with varying requirements and expectations - 7 years Demonstrated knowledge and experience of finance and grant functions within Government of Alberta Ministries and the ability to support working groups. - 5 years Develop and conduct people and technical readiness assessment strategies for internal staff and social service providers supporting government programs and lead ongoing readiness preparation activities - 5 years Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication plans for stakeholder engagement with external organizations affected by the transformation -4 years Demonstrated experience developing public sector procurement processes and policies to support trade directives and internal Treasury board policies. - 2 years
