Our client requires a DevOps Specialist to provide additional capacity to the operational team.

Duties include support for OpenShift environments (cloud and on premise hosted), management of the clusters, implementation of best practices, and engagement with developers, DevOps lead, product owners, project managers, senior leadership.

Work can be completed remotely however must be available for any planned on-site meetings if/when requested.

Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues.

Resource must be a Canadian Citizen..

• University graduation in Computer Science/IT or a related discipline and 5-yr Server Analyst experience; OR 2-yr diploma in Computer Science/IT or a related discipline and 7-yr Server Analyst experience; OR 1-yr certificate in Computer Science/IT or a related discipline and 8-yr Server Analyst experience; OR 9-yr of Server Analyst experience

• 3 years’ experience supporting Linux operating systems

• 2 years’ experience directly managing Red Hat OpenShift environments

• 1 year experience as a DevOps Specialist supporting the continuous delivery of custom-built solutions

• 1 year experience planning and managing maintenance activities related to platform to minimize digital service downtime

• Able to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

• 2 years’ experience monitoring and reporting OpenShift cluster availability and performance

• 2 years’ experience managing and provisioning assets in Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform

• 2 years’ experience managing production services in an enterprise using cloud-based infrastructure and/or using Infrastructure as Code

• 3 years’ experience with fundamental networking components and configuration in a Linux environment

• 1 years’ experience supporting a cloud hosted managed OpenShift environment.

• 1 years’ experience supporting Redhat OpenShift 4.x

• 1 year experience leading operations of digital services

• 1 year experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines

• 1 year experience working in a DevOps environment.

• 1 year experience with ARGO CD
