Our Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the coordination and completion of IT projects. The candidate will oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders involved in the projects.

Client is located in Edmonton, Alberta (MST).

The primary work location is remote/online.

Candidate must be located in Canada, and must be a Canadian Citizen.

• Demonstrated experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex software application development project in a large and complex environment.

• Experience defining/managing project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.

• Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.

• Demonstrated experience managing IT application development projects with large teams.

• Must have experience working on Public Sector (Government) projects.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Currently active PMP or PRINCE2 or equivalent certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent.

• Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience leading change management and communication planning.

• Experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.

• Experience using MS Project tools in a project server environment.

• Experience working with staff, contractors and vendor teams.

• Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology and scrum process.

• Ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders to communicate progress.

• Deep understanding of project implementation methodology.

• Experience managing resources throughout the project delivery lifecycle.

• Experience working on large/complex projects working with multiple Project Managers.
