Our Client is seeking two (2) Procurement Consultants (Non-IT) to refine identified business and technical requirements and translate those into the RFx solicitation documents as required.

Candidate(s) may also be involved in the upfront planning of how a project will be delivered.

Duties also include solicitation document preparation, evaluation & debrief, contract execution & post RFx activities and project management.

This role is onsite in Edmonton, Alberta working during standard business hours. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

• Experience with public sector procurement processes including an understanding of trade agreements. (6+ years)

• Experience project managing and leading a team through a full cycle of sourcing including upfront planning, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Negotiated Requests for Proposals (NFRPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), negotiations, evaluation, supplier feedback, and contract execution. (6+ years)

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools. (6+ years)

• Relevant experience in a role similar to this. (6+ years)

• Completion of SCMP or other equivalent courses and associated certificates.

•  Knowledge of trade agreements, Financial Administration Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Public Works Act. - 6 years

•  Experience using ERP systems such as SAP - 3 years

• Experience with and knowledge of tender systems (E-bidding). - 3 years
