Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Quality Assurance Testing Manager with a focus on quality assurance across an entire portfolio of business applications, including records, communications, and HR systems. Role includes: Managing and leading teams of testers; Communicating testing progress, roadblocks and solutions; Coordinating, monitoring, and executing test scripts (automated and manual) as needed; Collecting, collating, and reporting test results. Working with team leads, project managers, and technical staff as needed to identify the actions required to resolve issues identified during quality assurance and testing processes; Creation and maintenance of IT quality assurance plans, quality control plans, and associated guidelines, processes, and tools; and Creating test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts, mapping them to business requirements; Coordinating, monitoring, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.

This role requires part-time on site work. Two to three days per week onsite may be required. Interviews will be held in person. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.

8+ years of experience with:

• Create test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts, mapping them to business requirements.

• Create, maintain, and communicate IT quality assurance plans, quality control plans, and associated guidelines, processes, and tools.

• Coordinate, monitor, support, and execute software quality and software code reviews.

• Create, update, and manage test data for development and certification environments.

• Self-directed with the ability to move back and forth between tasks without direction, able to prioritize and reprioritize work.

• Innovative with the ability to develop new processes and practices in response to changing needs and requirements on the project and for the project team.

• Test Lead experience working on large projects managing teams of testers.

• Experience with setting up an automated testing effort and creating automated test scripts.

• Coordinate, monitor, and execute test scripts (automated and manual) as needed.

• Coordinate, monitor, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.

• Collect, collate, and report test results.

• Work with team leads, project managers, and technical staff as needed to identify the actions required to resolve issues identified during quality assurance and testing processes.

• Develop, maintain, and present training materials with respect to testing to business and IT staff as needed.

• Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and mentoring to team members as needed.

• Ability to clearly explain testing processes, methodologies, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Inform stakeholders about testing progress, challenges faced, and milestones achieved.

• Actively participate in meetings, presenting findings, and discussing next steps.

• Communicate test results from the end-user's viewpoint, ensuring that stakeholders understand the practical implications of issues on user experience.

• Intermediate to expert experience with Azure Dev Ops, particularly with the Testing Module, creating queries and dashboard contents.

• Intermediate to expert experience with Microsoft Excel.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to understand, identify and communicate needs for the project and project team members to potentially large groups of internal and external stakeholders.
