Description

Our Client is seeking a SAP Functional Consultant to act as a Pay Compare and ECP Module Co-Lead. The successful candidate with support the integrated testing process (developing and maintaining test scripts and scenarios) to discover and mitigate errors and issues impacting pay, Provide business payroll expertise and strong leadership to ensure payroll accuracy on go-live, Develop a deep understanding of the payroll and related human resources processes across the organization and the interconnectedness of these processes with the existing systems, Collaborate with the Centre of Excellence to ensure that the payroll solution is supportable and integrates corporately, Co-lead the successful execution of pay compare and demonstrate intricate knowledge of the ECP Configuration (how it works with EC and WFS).

Remote and or onsite is available. 

Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times. Must clear an Enhanced Security Check prior to start.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills
  • 10+ years of related experience

  • Strong understanding of SAP payroll

  • Certificate or Degree in a related field 

  • Experience and/or accreditation related to Payroll management and processing for large, unionized environment

  • Strong understanding or accreditation in Project Management

  • Excellent understanding of Canadian Payroll Processing Methodology

  • Ability to interpret business requirements/issues and provide go-forward recommendations

  • Deep understanding of HR business functions and processes as they relate to payroll

  • Experience with payroll system configuration

  • Experience in building and delivering payroll process/service delivery design

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills to develop and deliver engaging workshops with complex and detailed payroll subject matter

  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and root cause identification skills, able to use data to present challenges and solutions and opportunities to leadership

  • Project management knowledge

  • Proficiency with Google Suite 

  • The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate multiple groups, projects, and situations

  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyze issues to make decisions, recommend viable and effective solutions and summarize and manage information

Nice To Have Skills
  • IT system integration experience an asset

  • Experience with and knowledge of key integration points between SAP SuccessFactors modules an asset

Location Edmonton/Hybrid
Work Environment 6 months with possibility of extension
Hourly Rate Negotiable
