Our Client is seeking a resource who can deliver on a large-scale migration project for SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. Reporting to senior leaders, this role will need to understand the complexities of SharePoint and what can be involved when integrating them into the M365 suite. An in-depth understanding of Enterprise Content Management systems is essential for success.

Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings when required. Frequency of meeting could be up to 3-4 times per month. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.

• Proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following: 4-yr University graduation-Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics Engineering degree or a related discipline & 8-yr broadband/telecommunications technical experience; OR 12-yr or more combined broadband-related education & broadband technical experience in a related discipline (telecom engineering, network engineer, telecom field technician, communication technician, etc.).

• Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (6+ years)

• Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.(8+ years)

• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.(8+ years)

• Experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex custom software application development project (where the software is developed in house for that specific organization) in a large and complex environment. (6+ years)

• Experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments across multiple scenarios. (5+ years)

• Experience creating and managing project forecasts in Microsoft Project. (4+ years)

• Experience developing and maintaining positive relationships across the organization, from front line staff to executives. (5+ years)

• Experience in project coordination of government and vendor-wide information management / information technology initiatives. (2+ years)

• Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels. (8+ years)

• Experience leading change management and communication planning. (5+ years)

• Experience leading custom software application development projects following a formal project life cycle methodology. (6+ years)

• Experience working on Enterprise Content Management systems. (3+ years)

• Senior leadership experience working in the public sector (ideally Canada) with a sound knowledge of its stakeholders, business functions and informational requirements. (3+ years)
