| Description | Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager specialized in Healthcare for a contract working Hybrid out of the downtown Edmonton location. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of IT projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. |

| Experience Required/Mandatory Skills |
Demonstrated experience leading healthcare portfolios or initiatives of similar size and complexity. Experience assisting clients to execute strategies with technology, process, organizational design and IT operations. Experience in the development of project documents for a wide variety of initiatives and projects (strategic, business improvement, information technology, etc.). Experience supporting and collaborating directly with stakeholders, external (public users) and internal business areas. Ability to co-ordinate and communicate necessary information well to all clients. Experience working with cross-functional teams to understand detailed requirements and align the design to product vision and user needs. Senior leadership experience defining project scope, goals and deliverables such as roadmaps, governance, briefing notes, and business cases that support project goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. Experience leading project governance, change management and communication activities. |
| Nice To Have Skills |
Demonstrated experience with data integration between clinical applications in the Canadian eHealth environment. Demonstrated experience working as a Change Manager on a large complex custom software application development project in an environment of similar size and complexity to the Government of Alberta. Experience in the analysis, development, and integration of complex IT systems. Experience in understanding complex businesses questions and framing the right analytical question to solve a business problem. |
