Our Client is seeking up to three (3) Digital Architect - Data, to work on service innovation, program review and digital transformation projects. The Digital Architect, Data will work as part of cross-functional program review or product delivery teams. These teams work collaboratively and collectively participate in a full range of activities including: field research, backlog definition and refinement, and sprint planning and execution. Digital transformation projects review the current state of services, identify future opportunities, and then deliver new services that are efficient, effective and affordable.

The Digital Architect(s) will primarily work remotely; however, the Digital Architect(s) may be required to attend meetings or work sessions in Alberta on reasonable notice. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study equivalencies will be considered.

• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers and technical leads. (5+ years)

• Experience as a data architect, software architect, or senior data engineer, where the proposed resource’s focus has been collaborative work on and/or with cross-functional teams to create new software applications. (8+ years)

• Experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall technical vision for a large-scale Enterprise projects with integrations between systems. (5+ years)

• Experience leading domain modelling and database schema design for transactional and reporting systems. (4+ years)

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making. (5+ years)

• Experience aligning data architecture with organizational data strategies and digital service delivery goals. (3+ years)

• Experience applying data governance principles to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance in data product delivery. (3+ years)

• Experience applying secure development practices and managing identity and access using role-based or attribute-based access control and Zero Trust Architecture principle. (4+ years)

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed data interoperability and standardization practices into product development workflows. (2+ years)

• Experience incrementally transforming existing legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases. (5+ years)

• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code practices for cloud or hybrid environments (2+ years)

• Experience working within a large and complex organization. (2+ years)

• Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases, including schema design and performance optimization. (5+ years)

• Experience working within public sector digital service frameworks or enterprise architecture standards. (2+ years)

• Experience working as an architect using data analytics tools and methodologies to derive insights from data. (4+ years)
