Description

Our Client is seeking a Part-Time Privacy Analyst to participate in all privacy related tasks including ensuring Privacy Impact Assessments are completed in a timely manner and that appropriate privacy guidance is provided to projects, including those involving critical information assets, when needed. 

This is a part-time role of 25-40 hours per week with an estimated average of approximately 30 hours per week.

While this work is remote, must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills
  • Demonstrated experience of direct responsibility for the development and delivery of Privacy Impact Assessments for a complex and/or multi-system technology solution within the last 5 years. Resource to provide details on how the solution was complex and/or multi-system in nature.

  • Demonstrated working experience with Federal and Provincial privacy laws and requirements. These could include, though are not necessarily limited to, Saskatchewan’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and The Health Information Protection Act.

  • Government experience

  • Demonstrated working experience with Federal and Saskatchewan privacy laws and requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering Privacy Impact Assessments at a Provincial and/or Federal government level. 

  • Demonstrated experience utilizing a privacy-by-design approach (or equivalent) to participating in the design and implementation of a solution.

  • Demonstrated experience contributing to the design and assessment of solutions that include biometrics.

  • Demonstrated experience performing research and analysis used to inform recommendations to advance privacy protection. 

  • Demonstrated experience reviewing project proposals, initiatives and proof of concepts to identify information access and privacy issues and opportunities (e.g. duplication of data, security and privacy, enhance the quality and use of information).

  • Demonstrated working experience with information security policies, standards, methods, and best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and independently managing work plans and project schedules, providing excellent customer service skills, and ensuring client needs are managed effectively.

  • Completed education and/or work experience in areas such as Business Administration, Computer Science, and/or a related field and/or privacy related certification(s)

Location Regina/Remote
Work Environment 1 year with 4 possible 1-year extensions
Hourly Rate Negotiable
