| Description | The Registries Modernization team is taking an agile approach to implementing modernized, innovative, human-centric and sustainable solutions for delivering registry services to Albertans. For the Motor Vehicles registry, this includes a complete replacement of the legacy applications that deliver motor vehicle services with an established codebase that will serve as the foundation of the new system. Our team is looking for a Business Consultant who is process oriented and experienced in gathering requirements, performing gap analysis, and working with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business needs and drive operational efficiency. |

| Experience Required/Mandatory Skills |
Experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows. Experience gathering requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases or scenarios, business analysis, and business process modeling. Experience in a leadership and/or facilitation role. Experience working within an agile development environment. Active professional certification or accreditation in a related discipline from a recognized issuing body. |

Experience evaluating policies, programs, and initiatives using program development principles Experience in gathering requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders across ministries or departments. Experience using analytical and problem solving skills to plan and design creative solutions. Experience with business writing, communication and documentation. Experience with change management. |
