Our Client is seeking an Information Architecture and Technical Design Lead to support a Corporate Intranet Modernization Project migrating our intranet capabilities to M365. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of a modern corporate intranet platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements, governance standards, and industry best practices.

This role will work closely with the project team, SharePoint Online developers, and stakeholders across the organization to deliver a robust, user-friendly intranet and employee communications experience. Key areas of focus include intranet governance creation, site structure design, metadata and navigation strategy, reusable templates, and implementation of custom solutions using PowerApps. 

The intranet will integrate with Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage, and Viva Connections, and the candidate will play a leadership role in optimizing the M365 solution, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.

This role is full time on site or hybrid (2 days minimum per week). Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.

• Proven experience implementing corporate intranets using SharePoint Online.

• Strong understanding of integration capabilities with Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage, and Viva Connections.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information architecture and technical design for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.

• Expertise in intranet governance, metadata design, navigation planning, and template development.

• Experience implementing custom solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate.

• Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, site collections, permissions, and content types.

• Proficiency in SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Graph API.

• Experience with migration tools such as ShareGate.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and integration with SharePoint.

• Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Graph API.

• Knowledge of corporate intranet design principles and user experience best practices.

• Experience working in hybrid environments and with Agile project teams.

• Experience designing and delivering training programs for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience leading technical teams and managing complex migration projects.
