Our Client is seeking a results-driven IT Business Analyst experienced in transitioning cybersecurity services to Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). This role is to support the planning and execution of the services and ensuring a seamless migration of operational security capabilities to the contracted MSSP. The ideal candidate has a background in cybersecurity programs, with a strong understanding of managed security delivery models and security operations, the role will help bridge the Cybersecurity team operation objectives and security capabilities, enabling a controlled and effective transition of services.

Note: Hybrid (3 days on site in Edmonton and 2 days remote) may be considered once the project is underway and progressing as expected. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and must work within Canada at all times.

• 5+ years of IT Business Analyst experience in complex IT initiatives.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to articulate requirements and translate to technical requirements.

• Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) are advantageous.

• Experience with Managed Security Service Provider will be a plus.

• Experience with cybersecurity compliance requirements and Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, etc.) will be a plus.
