Our Client is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Specialist to support the delivery of Technical Procurements.

While this role is remote, all work must be done from within Alberta, due to network and data security issues. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

• Relevant post-secondary education in areas of supply chain, procurement, business or a related field, Acceptable education includes degrees, diplomas and certificates (minimum 2 year diploma).

• Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMA), Certified Public Procurement Officer, or other recognized procurement certification

• Experience leading RFPs, NRFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFXs, evaluations, debriefings, and contract negotiations. (5+ years)

• Experience drafting, reviewing, and managing vendor contracts in a complex environment. (8+ years)

• Providing procurement advice to internal clients, senior leadership, and cross functional teams. (8+ years)

• Experience in documenting application architectures in a a large and complex enterprise IT environment. (7+ years)

• Experience applying NWPTA, CETA, CFTA and/or CUSMA to procurement activities. (7+ years)

• Experience procuring goods/services under public sector rules (e.g., trade agreements, procurement legislation, governmental policies). (8+ years)

• Experience procuring for modernization projects, digital programs, or cloud based solutions. (5+ years)

• Ability to evaluate cost models, contract risks, and pricing structures. (5+ years)

• Experience procuring software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, integrations, or digital platforms. (5+ years)
