Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Application Analyst to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance for an Enterprise Database Archival Service on the Cloudera Data Platform. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with end-users, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

The Application Analyst will provide analysis and recommendations on process improvements and to hosting infrastructure, and include details of risks, dependencies, business impacts, interdependencies, and implications pertaining to the methodology to be applied on projects. The role serves as a bridge between users and technical teams, ensuring that applications effectively meet business objectives. A proven ability to function on an individual basis and in a team environment is essential.

While this role is remote, all work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

• University degree in related discipline OR Two-year diploma in related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.

• Experience in using Big Data platforms like Cloudera Data Platform. (4+ years)

• Experience with Azure Infrastructure and Services. (4+ years)

• Experience with Big Data and Business Intelligence. (4+ years)

• Experience with CDP Public Cloud upgrade, patching, and system maintenance. (4+ years)

• Experience with Data Warehouse and Reporting Tools. (4+ years)

• Experience with Kubernetes Cluster and Linux OS. (4+ years)

• Experience in planning/performing/monitoring User acceptance testing. (2+ years)

• Experience with Azure subscriptions and cost analysis. (2+ years)

• Experience with development for dashboards and reports. (2+ years)
