Our Client is seeking a ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) Implementation SME to play a lead role in implementing SAM Pro on an existing ServiceNow platform. This position focuses primarily on the successful design, deployment, and operationalization of SAM Pro capabilities, enabling software lifecycle governance, compliance tracking, optimization, and license management. 

The ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) has already been implemented; however, additional process development is required to strengthen HAM operations and maintain CMDB health. Supporting the enhancement and stabilization of HAM processes will be an additional responsibility. 

This role requires deep expertise in SAM Pro and HAM implementation and a strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) best practices, with an emphasis on software governance and CMDB alignment. 

While this role may be remote for the right candidate, must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.

• 2-year post-secondary diploma or a 4-year post-secondary degree in IT or Computing Science related field. 

• 10 years experience working on project teams and/or large-scale IT transformation projects.  

• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management preferred. 

• Proven experience implementing ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro in a similar role. 

• Strong knowledge of licensing models, compliance considerations, and enterprise software lifecycle management. 

• Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) or other ITAM disciplines. 

• Strong analytical and communication skills. 

• Fluency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams. 

• High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline. 

• ITIL Certification will be considered an asset. 

• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM Pro and HAM Pro strongly preferred.
