Description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect with expertise in Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI). This role requires architecting and designing an Azure Local Enterprise Architecture spanning 3 data centers in Canada and the US.

This resource must be located in Edmonton, Alberta or willing to relocate to Edmonton.

Experience Required/Mandatory Skills

  • Microsoft Azure Local – Architecture, Design and Implementation (Required)

  • Microsoft Azure Cloud – Architecture, Design and implementation (Required)

  • Citrix App and Desktop Virtualization platform (Desired)

  • Scripting Skills – Powershell (Desired)

  • Previous experience with Virtual Desktops and migrations (Desired)
Nice To Have Skills

  • 2-year post-secondary diploma or a 4-year post-secondary degree in IT or Computing Science related field.

  • 7 - 10 years of related experience in IT infrastructure.

  • Skills and experience as a solution/system architect, working on or supporting infrastructure projects, familiarity with similar Subject Matter Expert support.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to understand and communicate key concepts.

Understanding of IT business continuity, security, and other risk assessment and optimization methodologies.
