Required Skills
- Extensive SAP ABAP experience with S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or conversions
- Mastery of OO-ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, OData, Enhancements (BAdIs/User Exits), Adobe/SmartForms
- Strong techno-functional knowledge of SAP FI, SD, and core logistics processes
- Experience with integrations including IDocs, RFCs, APIs, and web services
- Deep understanding of S/4HANA architecture, data models, and simplification items
- Proven performance tuning and debugging skills in HANA environments
- Strong analytical skills and excellent stakeholder communication
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development from a backend perspective
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), and SAP Cloud integrations
- Knowledge of SAP security concepts, role design, and authorization objects related to custom development
- Experience with SAP Activate or Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform or SAP BTP services
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in SAP landscapes
- Background in regulated industries with a focus on audit and compliance
- Ability to contribute to cross-functional teams with a collaborative spirit
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, preferably within S/4HANA environments
- Prior involvement in at least one full cycle S/4HANA implementation or upgrade
Other Requirements
- Availability for occasional travel if necessary to client sites
- Relevant SAP certifications are a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work within fast-paced, Agile delivery frameworks
