Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines Strong proficiency with SQL and cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Hands-on experience with data integration and ETL/ELT processes Skilled in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience working with government or public sector data Knowledge of metadata management and data governance frameworks Familiarity with machine learning and advanced analytics Prior experience with modern data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, etc.) Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field 10+ years of proven success in data engineering or related roles, with a preference for candidates with a strong track record in large-scale enterprise environments Other Requirements: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Willingness to participate in interviews and follow the outlined process Set clear expectations with stakeholders and maintain transparency throughout project phases This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a transformative government initiative that impacts the lives of many.
