Job Opportunity

Our client, a leader in regulatory assurance, is seeking a dynamic Training Specialist to develop impactful learning solutions that empower staff to effectively utilize a Digital Regulatory Assurance System. Bring your expertise in training development, technical documentation, and virtual delivery to a role that challenges and rewards. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to craft practical, user-focused content and facilitate virtual training sessions that drive user confidence and compliance. Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in business, communications, adult education, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in training.
  • Proven experience creating user training materials, technical documentation, and platform support resources.
  • Skilled in delivering interactive virtual training sessions using platforms like Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives under strict deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience developing and delivering organizational communications and presentations across various levels, including executives and end-users.
  • Ability to develop computer-based training modules, training videos, and rich multimedia content.
  • Experience designing change management strategies, stakeholder impact assessments, and related deliverables.
  • Skilled at documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows.
  • Ability to use feedback and analytics to refine training content and delivery.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • A combination of education and experience that demonstrates your capacity to design effective training solutions in a digital or regulatory environment.
  • Prior experience working within government or environmental agencies is advantageous, but not essential.
Other Requirements:
  • Hybrid working environment with primarily remote work, occasional in-office meetings in downtown Edmonton, Alberta.
  • Flexibility to attend meetings or work sessions with reasonable notice; travel and associated expenses within Alberta are covered.
  • Willingness to work within Canada and adhere to Alberta's provincial holidays and work hours.
