- Proven hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing Power BI solutions that handle complex, regulated datasets.
- Expertise in building dashboards, reports, and analytical workflows tailored to support executive decision-making outside of core data engineering.
- Strong communication skills, capable of facilitating meetings and engaging effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
- Skilled in leveraging data analytics tools and methodologies to extract valuable insights.
- Experience working cross-functionally to gather requirements and align data solutions with strategic needs.
Nice to Have:
- Experience delivering insights that have a tangible business or government impact.
- Ability to craft detailed business requirements and documentation.
- Background in developing analytical and quantitative models.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Management, or related fields.
- Several years of experience in analytics, data management, or business intelligence, especially within regulatory contexts.
Other Requirements:
- Capable of working within Alberta’s work environment, with flexibility for occasional in-office meetings in Edmonton.
- Experience with data collection, testing, validation, and building automated reporting tools.
- Ability to develop user guides, SOPs, and deliver end-user training to ensure seamless adoption.
- This role is primarily remote within Canada, with occasional office visits as needed.
