What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Proven hands-on experience translating complex business requirements into robust analytical solutions.
- Expertise in communicating findings effectively to technical teams and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Excel PowerPivot, Cognos Cubes, and Microsoft PowerBI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting strategic business and technical documentation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with product visions and user needs.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms like Azure and Snowflake, including data management, visualization, and advanced analytics.
- Ability to develop detailed business requirements documentation.
- Skills in building analytical models and quantitative analysis.
- Comfort facilitating meetings and engaging with senior management and stakeholders.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A background in business analysis, data management, or related fields.
- Several years of experience supporting regulatory or compliance functions with data-driven solutions.
- Prior experience working in a hybrid work environment, with flexibility to attend occasional in-office meetings in Edmonton.
Other Requirements:
- This is a hybrid role with standard operating hours from 8:15 to 4:30 Alberta time, Monday through Friday.
- Occasional travel to Edmonton or within Alberta may be required.
- The role involves working closely with regulatory teams and senior leadership to develop dashboards, reports, and trackers aligned with a Regulatory Assurance Framework.
