Bring your expertise in automation testing to deliver high-quality digital solutions that are efficient, reliable, and secure. As a QA Automation Developer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated testing frameworks, ensuring the highest standards of service quality and performance. Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of test plan creation, test case development, and testing methodologies
  • Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
  • Experience with performance, load, and security testing
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including TDD and BDD
  • Ability to interpret and analyze testing results, reports, and metrics
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with AI and machine learning applications in testing
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Previous experience working within government or large-scale enterprise environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quality assurance, automation testing, or software development
  • Proven track record of delivering automation solutions in complex project settings
Other Requirements:
  • Work will primarily be remote, with possible meetings in Edmonton on short notice
  • Work must be performed within Canada
  • Ability to work up to 1,960 hours over the contract period, depending on project needs
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and deliverables
