This is your chance to shape future-ready digital services that make a real difference in citizens’ lives. If you’re passionate about cutting-edge technology, strategic architecture, and delivering impactful solutions, this opportunity was made for you. What’s in it for you? The Province is seeking up to 14 talented Digital Architects to lead the design and delivery of citizen-centric digital services across diverse projects. As part of dynamic cross-functional teams, you’ll collaborate with GoA product owners and fellow innovators to redefine how services are delivered through agile methodologies and modern architecture. Your expertise will help review existing systems, identify new opportunities, and deliver efficient, effective, and scalable digital solutions. This is a chance to influence a broad portfolio of programs while honing your leadership and technical skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment. Bring your skills in software architecture, solution design, and digital strategy to the table. You’ll need a sharp understanding of current and emerging technologies, along with excellent project leadership abilities. Your knack for aligning technical standards with business goals will be key to delivering solutions that are user-focused and future-proof. While not essential, familiarity with agile practices, enterprise architecture frameworks, and coding standards will give you a competitive edge. Additional experience working within government or large-scale transformation initiatives is highly advantageous. We prefer candidates with a relevant degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and several years of professional experience in digital architecture and solution delivery. Prior experience with digital services development, system integration, and technical mentorship will round out your profile. Other requirements include the ability to work full-time on-site or remotely (time and location may vary), and a willingness to engage in iterative project phases that evolve based on emerging needs. You may be asked to perform some development tasks and should be comfortable with technical documentation and presenting complex ideas to varied audiences.
