Description Our client is seeking a dynamic Digital Architect to shape the future of citizen-centered solutions. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the solution architecture for complex digital services, ensuring alignment with citizen-centered design principles and agile methodologies.
  • Develop and refine architectural plans, uncover existing system contexts, and provide innovative prototypes for technical discovery.
  • Drive the implementation of digital services by facilitating continuous delivery, defining integration approaches, and leveraging common components across projects.
  • Guide teams through detailed solution designs, review code contributions, and mentor team members to foster a high-performance environment.
  • Contribute to the architectural vision of a user-centric platform by establishing standards, metrics, and principles for service quality and delivery.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear documentation, diagrams, and presentations.
  • Participate actively in shaping and improving architectural practices, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative digital solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a software architect, leading enterprise-scale solution design and delivery.
  • Strong expertise in containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Solid understanding of modern development stacks, API design including RESTful services, and system integration.
  • Experience working within complex organizational environments, ideally within the public sector or enterprise architecture frameworks.
Nice to Haves:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft .NET Framework.
  • Knowledge of secure development practices, identity and access management, Zero Trust principles.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including performance tuning.
  • Past exposure to legacy system modernization and service design using UX, service design, or human-centered approaches.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Extensive experience in digital architecture, with a track record of leading transformational projects in complex environments.
  • Prior work with public sector standards and frameworks is a plus, as is security clearance eligibility.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work onsite five days a week.
  • Ability to obtain an enhanced security clearance, including criminal and credit checks.
  • Availability to participate in the interview process and adapt to evolving project needs.
