Job Opportunity
Description Join a dynamic team supporting impactful contract and grant activities as a Senior Admin Assistant, where your organizational skills and attention to detail will be celebrated. In this role, you'll be the backbone of administrative excellence - tracking agreements, supporting procurement, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth office operations. Your exceptional relationship-building talents and communication flair will shine as you respond to stakeholder inquiries and coordinate documentation and approvals with ease.

Required Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills in various formats
  • Organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and data systems
  • Experience in proofing and formatting Word documents
  • Familiarity with electronic and paper filing systems (Prolaw or similar)
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks
  • Experience with vendor invoice review and validation using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Knowledge of childcare grant funding programs in Alberta
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint sites
  • Strong meeting support skills including agenda prep, minute-taking, and follow-up
  • Experience supporting team projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Other Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an administrative role
  • Post-secondary education in office administration, including degrees, diplomas, or certificates, is a plus
  • Comfortable working with electronic records and managing both physical and digital documentation
  • Ability to support invoicing, reports, and compliance processes
