Cyber Security Analyst
Step into the frontline of digital defense as a Cyber Security Analyst and become a vital part of a dynamic team dedicated to safeguarding what matters most. In this fast-paced role, you'll lead the charge in designing, implementing, and refining cybersecurity strategies to thwart evolving threats and protect vital assets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan to handle security breaches swiftly and effectively
- Monitor cybersecurity help desk tickets, responding promptly to incidents and escalations
- Manage intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and network security tools
- Conduct vulnerability testing, risk assessments, and security audits to identify and mitigate threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and ensure regulatory compliance
- Investigate security breaches and perform root cause analysis to prevent future incidents
- Maintain and update security policies, standards, and training initiatives
- Stay ahead of industry trends by researching new security technologies and strategies
- Produce reports that provide a clear picture of the organization's security posture
- Build and nurture professional relationships within technical teams and end-users
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of cyber security experience with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, protocols, and networks
- Proven expertise in securing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
- Knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement solutions quickly
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt in high-pressure situations
- Past mentoring and training experience a plus
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity or related fields
- Experience with compliance standards and vendor security assessments
- Familiarity with incident response frameworks and best practices
