Our client, a leader in large-scale enterprise modernization, is looking for a SAP Business Analyst to support an ERP transformation program modernizing core business functions across finance, supply chain, and human resources. In this role, you’ll translate real-world business needs into clear SAP-ready requirements, help streamline and automate workflows, and ensure solutions align with best practices while strengthening master data and customer relationship management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, and process modeling
- Translate conceptual needs into functional and non-functional requirements for technical teams and solution/data architects
- Facilitate cross-functional discovery and alignment across finance, supply chain, and HR stakeholders
- Develop process maps, models, diagrams, and supporting specifications to validate current and future state processes
- Plan, organize, prioritize, and execute business analysis activities, including approvals and governance
- Define measurable evaluation criteria (user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria) to confirm solution success
- Build and maintain requirements traceability to ensure completeness and solution alignment
- Support triage of user requirement issues and help resolve requirement-related problems
- Contribute to risk, issue, and change management activities
- Develop and review test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts; support and/or lead SIT and UAT
- Manage defects during SIT and UAT using defect management tools, from logging through resolution
- Create or support user access documentation and training materials as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, validating, documenting, and obtaining approval for requirements
- 5+ years partnering closely with business clients including interviewing, supporting requirements execution, and issue triage
- 5+ years working across concurrent projects spanning multiple business areas and technical environments
- 5+ years developing and executing testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect management
- 5+ years building process maps/models and documentation to guide implementation teams
- 5+ years experience with risk management, issue management, and change management
- 3+ years experience with SAP ERP implementations
- Nice to have: experience with master data enhancement and CRM capability improvements
- Preferred background: experienced Business Analyst supporting enterprise ERP programs in complex environments
