Responsibilities: Execute detailed account reconciliations and sophisticated financial analyses Contribute to seamless monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles Draft journal entries and validate transaction accuracy Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies within financial systems and reporting Manage accounts receivable, revenue & payroll data, and inter-unit transfers Prepare for audits with comprehensive documentation and reconciliations Identify vulnerabilities and process gaps, championing streamlined solutions Develop, implement, and refine financial procedures and tools Advise stakeholders on accounting standards, legislation, and best practices Lead initiatives to improve financial systems and operational workflows Qualifications: Proven experience with data analysis, complex datasets, and advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting mechanisms Skilled in using SharePoint online for shared workspaces CPA designation essential Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related fields NICE TO HAVE: Experience with ERP systems (SAP), financial audits, controls, and governance; budgeting and internal control management Why this role?
