| Description |
Our Client is seeking a Senior Technology Architect to provide subject matter expertise and additional capacity to their Cloud Architecture team. Duties will include support for designing and provisioning new cloud services, engaging with technical teams, vendors, and service owners. The primary focus of this position will be to ensure that core services are designed according to standards and available for consumption by developers and service owners. Resource will work remotely but must be located within Canada. |

| Experience Required/Mandatory Skills |
- Experience providing leadership to project implementation teams and uses service management best practices to implement cloud services within operational processes. (2+ years)
- Experience implementing cloud solutions in a multi-account, multi-cloud environment. (2+ years)
- Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform, ARM templates, and/or Cloud Formation (1+ year)
- Experience with solution and cost information to inform decision makers and support of business cases. (2+ years)
- Experience in an Architect role in a large organization. (2+ years)
- Experience in implementing cloud services in 1 or more of AWS, Azure or Google (2+ years)
- Proposed resource must have own computer equipment and be comfortable using it for completion of work required by this contract.

| Nice To Have Skills |
- Experience preparing and presenting comprehensive information to management. Including but not limited to contributing to presentations, briefing notes, and decision requests. Ability to assess the impact of technology changes to multiple environments and communicate this to multiple areas. (2+ years)
- Completion of cloud architecture training, specific with one or more hyper scale cloud providers. Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect certifications are preferred.
- Experience managing issues/escalations to resolution. (5+ years)
- Experience leading or playing a major role in a large IT Project (1+ year)
- Experience managing vendors by ensuring contract deliverables are completed and of high quality. (2+ years)
- Experience with Agile methodology (1+ year)
